Me. Leopard print pants. Blue Weight Watchers T-shirt. Playing Dance Dance Revolution.
I’m addicted to it and my boys are PISSED. At first, they were all “YAY! Mom’s playing it with us! It’s ok if she totally sucks at it!” But then, I started to get it and I started clearing all the levels and they weren’t getting any turns and now they’re all “Mom, you bought it for us! WHY DON’T YOU BUY YOUR OWN!”
Whatever! They’re just threatened by my mad arrow following dance skills. You would be too.

I SO want to get that game! The only thing that’s preventing me is the fact that I have a roommate who goes to bed early right underneath my room. I’m pretty sure you could hear my fat ass stomping on arrows all night long.

    LOL…that’s so not how I pictured it… 😉
Maybe I’ll get that for Kelsey for her b-day. She really wants to do the arcade dance games, but she’s always really embarassed, because there is ALWAYS some kid who has spent 100 hours on the damn thing and knows how to do it perfectly.

Dude. There’s a work out mode on it. I got the game for the playstation2. It was 30 for the game and 20 for the pad. Not too bad, if you already have the system?
The boys are totally pissed at me though, I’ve taken over. And Tony’s trying to get all up on it now.
    Um. NO!

We have GameCube so we can’t get DDR, but I think they make a different one for it. I want it so bad. I’m seriously considering getting a PS2 just for DDR. heh My husband and I already get the look of death because we want to race each other all the time on Mario Kart.

    That’s a really cool game.
My dad sent my dughter the “eye toy” that goes with PS2. This thing actually puts you in the TV screen and you fight and karate and all that stuff right there on your TV. No gamecroller required, your whole body is the controller andit has tons of games on it. I have to admit that Ihave been playing it too.
My daughter loved it so much that she got the “grooves” eye toy cartridge with her Christmas money. It has a calorie counter too. I think it’s a lot like the DDR but you don’t have the floormat, you ar on the tv and follow the prompts.
I’d never seen anything like it.
    Long enough for ya?? *grin*

OOH! Getting that is on my list – I actually have a list on my little dry-erase board on my filing cabinet of things I want to earn money for – and #5 is the PS2 and DDR *grin*
And, really – I’m not always so anal. Honest.

Dammit, Y! You are solely responsible for sending me out tonight on a futile quest to see if I could rent DDR for the XBox anywhere. I can’t bring myself to spring for the pad *and* the game, sadly…and the hub has a way to…ahem…archive games directly to the hard drive. Of course, no one rents that particular game, as far as I can tell. Why didn’t I know about this BEFORE Christmas? Then I’d surely be dancing right along with you by now. Now I just need to find someone from whom to borrow that oh-so-enticing game.

I bought that for my nine-year-old this year… it’s on the second floor of my house and if her skinny-butt stomping is any indication, I think I would end up in the garage if I tried it. But I’m encouraged… losing 60 lbs? That would take care of one of my goals for the year!!

I so ~TOTALLY~ love that game! I played it at a party a few weeks back and was like, “Dude, I could totally exercise with this!!” Now, if I only had the room to have one…
