i am happy to say, ethan did a wonderful job singing today! it was so great, well, except for the chaos i created at the beginning of the program. you see, my son was a pilgrim, so they had to wear these hats and little vests. well, i watched all the kids walk in, and i never saw ethan. "hmmm , that's weird, maybe i missed him." so i ask my friend if she sees him, nope, she doesn't see him either. maybe they're not all here yet. wait, i see all the teachers. now i'm getting scared. i start to feel hot, so i run up to the front of the auditorium and i'm panicked, i find his teacher "where is my son, where is ethan??" so she tells me he's there, and i tell her to show me where, i don't see him. so, she goes to point him out, well, she can't find him either (mind you all the parents are watching us now) i'm FREAKING OUT and now she is too. then, i see this body, but you can't see the head because the hat on the head is so fucking big, it's ethan!! "there he is!" we didnt' know it was him because the hat he made was so big, it was covering his face! dear god, we both started laughing out of relief and i went and sat my ass down so they could start the program. my friend was in tears. the whole program we laughed about it. it was so cute, my son up there with a big ass pilgrim hat singing the squirrel song. oh and don't forget the mutha fuckin turkey song!
god i love being a mother!

I'm glad that you had a nice program and you got to see your little pilgram sing all of his songs! Happy Turkey day!
