I had my Valentines a day early. I spent it with two men I love. My husband and Jay Mohr. I can't even begin to tell you how incredible the evening was. Jay was such a class act with me and my husband. We were able to spend time with him before the show. When he first saw me, he said "Oh, y, you look more beautiful then you ever have!" and he kept repeating it over and over again. Infact, at one point, he said "but you don't understand, she was fucking UGLY before," because he realised how much he kept saying it... Feels good to hear that when you're pregnant, especially considering that I feel like a fat beast most days. He asked me if he could give my baby some love, I said yes, of course. He placed his hand on my tummy, closed his eyes and sent love to my baby. Cheesy, no? But so freakin' sweet.
After that, he asked me if I was in any pain. I told him my back hurts, so he called his massuese over and asked her to "take care of me". She gave me the best massage and I still feel relaxed from it.
The show was hilarious. Rob Cantrell opened the show. Not only is he funny, he's just cool. I saw him before the show, and he told me he loves my website. heh. I didn't realise he knew about it. Anyway, that's totally besides the point. Rob is a great comedian and I think I have a crush on him. Ok, I know I do.
Jay had new material and he had me laughing my ass off. I'm telling you people, if you see he's going to be at an Improv near you, get some tickets! You won't be disappointed.
