And to think that there are men who get turned on by pregnant women? That's just SICK.

(click to make the belly grow)

This is what I see when I look down. My 24 week pregnant belly (and a tatered and torn bra.) I can't believe I'm already 6 months along. The reality of it all is starting to hit fast and hard. In 16 more weeks, I'll get to meet the newest member of my family. Unbelievable.

I've scheduled another ultrasound (one I have to pay a small fee for) to determine once and for all that this baby is indeed a girl. I have this fear of pushing the kid out, only to hear, "It's a boy!" I don't need anymore surprises. The whole family will be there for this ultrasound, and it will be videotaped, so I can pop it in the vcr and watch her whenever I want to.

This pregnancy is the hardest one I've had yet. Every "possible" symptom that is listed in the month by month pregnancy guide, I have. Let's see, this month, the list goes as follows (and yes, every single one of them is happening to me)

Lower abdominal achiness (from stretching ligaments)
Constipation (duuuuuuude)
Heartburn, indigestion, flatulence, bloating
Occasional headaches, faintness or dizziness
Nasal congestion and occasional nosebleeds
bleeding gums (wanna kiss?)
hearty appetite
leg cramps (especially at night, these mother fuckers keep me awake at night)
mild swelling of ankles, hands and feet, face (you should see my nose!)
varicose veins of legs and or hemmoroids (this just adds to my sex appeal)
itchy abdomin
backaches
enlarged breasts (yeah, like I NEED THAT!)

Other than that, I feel GREAT. I just keep telling myself that this little person is totally worth it. Now if she would only hurry up and make her way out.

I can not understand any man getting turned on by a pregnant woman but I do think they have a beauty that is beyond words. I always recall a story told to me by a OB/GYN friend who once asked a patient about her level of pain to which she replied, "To hell with the pain, show me my baby." Moms of the world, I salute you.

I'm not turned on by a pregnant woman at all, but you gotta admit those "pregnantboobies" look fantastic in that pic!

I'm the exact same way. Every scare imaginable, every symptom listed, i've gotten.

I swear to god it's come to the point where I'll read something and the next day it'll happen.

I don't read those pregnancy books anymore ;)

Yeppers, HAS to be a girl. I had two (three) boys before my daughter and the pregnancy was completely different with my daughter than with
my sons... made for an interesting nine months!! Best of luck to you Yvonne...you're doing so well!!

About Y
My name is Y, but you can call me "Jesse's girl." I am an Aerobic Dancer and have mastered many moves, but the one I am the most proud of is "The Monkey." I have three kids. ALL FROM THE SAME DAD (Because, did you know someone actually asked me that question?) A 15 year old son, a 11 year old son and a 4 year old daughter who was not planned but who is loved more than words could ever express. I am addicted to Starbucks, reality TV and to getting really good deals through coupons and "club member" savings (Please, respect The Costco Card.) I am extremely competive and if you don't believe me, just ask my husband about the time I sold him out to win a game of Taboo. If you're waiting for the part where I speak of my love for walks on the beach or slow dancing in the rain, you're going to be disappointed because my idea of a good time usually involves things like "burping contests" and "doing The Worm".
