Roaaaarrrrr, I'm the cookie monster

Anyone who has met me will tell you that I am an "excessive hugger". I can't help myself. I love to hug people. I love hugging so much I lose control of my arms the second I see someone I love and the squeezing begins. I don't know when to end the hug once I start the hug because it FEELS SO GOOD. What can I say, I fucking LOVE HUGS. Unless we're talking about virtual *(*(*(HUGS)*)*)* because I DON'T fucking love those.

So, why I am telling you about my hugging fetish this morning? Could it be because I hugged on a celebrity over the weekend and I wanted to brag about it?

It most certainly could be.

AND IT IS.

Saturday night Tony and I had our first night out since Gabby was born. We went to the Improv to see Todd Glass. I fell in L-O-V-E with Mr.Glass after watching Last Comic Standing and I wanted to see him live. The show was sold out (the head liner was Pablo Fransico, who I thought SUCKED BADLY) so we waited in line for a long time. I had to take a leak so as soon as we got our seats, I went to go to the bathroom. Well, guess who was in the lobby? Todd Glass, that's who. The man is a giant, adorable teddy bear (even if he does look like the love child of Mel Gibson and Fred Flinstone) and my overwhelming need to hug him took control of my body. I went up to him, wrapped my arms around his manly waist and said "I LOVE TODD GLASS!!!" He's so cool, he didn't even FREAK OUT! He asked me what my name was, so I told him. He hugged me back and started to say "I LOVE YVONNE" and there we stood, hugging each other, telling each other that we loved each other. I didn't want to let go because a)it was hilarious b) he felt really good (I love to hug big men, same way I love hugging girls with big boobs, just ask Skits). We talked for a while WHILE HUGGING. We finally ended the hug and he said "who would have thought we'd have this moment" which MADE ME WANT TO HUG HIM AGAIN... So I DID!

When I told Tony, he was like "Oh God, Yvonne, you just can't control yourself, can you?"

No, I can't. I was born this way.

I love the man even more after seeing him perform live. The man is HILARIOUS, people. I swear to God, I haven't laughed that hard... EVER at a comedy show. If he's ever doing a show in your area? GO SEE THE MAN. You will laugh your ass off, I promise you.

Consider yourself warned, if we ever meet, I PROMISE YOU, I will run to you and wrap my arms tightly around you and I probably won't ever let go, especially if you have big boobs.

HA!
You slay me.

"Mel Gibson and Fred Flinstone"

THANK YOU!!!! I knew he reminded me of someone but I've never been able to pin it down and this, this does it beautifully. As soon as I read your description I thought, "Yes!!!!"

Which, coupled with the exclamation points I used to thank you, means that I've used up my alloted ! for the day.

As for the hugging, I'm a conditional excessive hugger. I have to know someone very well and them I'm very touchy feely. Too much sometimes I think. But no one has placed restraining orders on me so I think I may be okay.

i hope that you made sure that you had fresh breath before you hugged him. i mean, wouldn't you just cringe if the next time you saw him, he had a bit in his act about some crazy bad-breathed lady who kept hugging him after a show? hahahahahahahah

Some hugs are better than others, if you know what I mean.

And I have big boobs, so c'mon over...

Posted by: ben at November 15, 2004 05:38 PM

Hugs are the BEST. Especially if Y is givin' them. ;)

Posted by: skits at November 15, 2004 05:50 PM

I have really big boobies. As big as yours. I WANT A HUG!

Hey, he's cute! Even if I wasn't an Excessive Hugger (which I am), I'd hug him in a heartbeat. I also have a habit of wrapping one leg around close friends as I hold them in the bear-clinch, which adds a nice (I think), faintly-obscene touch to the hug and makes the recipient giggle like a little girl. I think my boobies are borderline big - does that qualify me for a hug?

Because I have 46DD's I will be so fucking excited!

But don't squish me so hard milk starts to come out k?

That's a great story.

I had the same experience with Bill Clinton when he was the President. Do you know how retarded I felt the moment I realized what I had done - including grabbing his hand like we were old high school pals. Thankfully a picture was taken of us at the moment it happened which captures the shock and hilarity of the moment forever.

WHOOT! Added to my list of things to do: See Todd Glass, and make SURE to be Hugged by Y! I gots me some SERIOUSLY big tatas. We'll just not mention the big ass balancing them out - but really, those first hugs I love. And hugs after that I love. unless I'm being antisocial then I don't want any. But should I be coming to see you - me thinks anti-social wouldn't be in the vocab for the duration. *g*

Whoo!! Big boobies over here, come give hugs!! I'm a marathon hugger myself, so I think we'd just end up hugging the whole time and not doing anything else. LOL!

Posted by: shaunacat at November 15, 2004 08:58 PM

You'd love to meet me, then ;)

That is so sweet! I'll bet Todd loves stuff like that - especially since look how lovely you are! He was probably thrilled to have you hugging him. I mean, he professed his love for you RIGHT THERE!

ps Promises promises. You tease me by asking me where I live and then I never hear from you again. Cruel.

Do I live too far? I'd like to get a little action.

Posted by: Mieke at November 15, 2004 10:27 PM

Guess I had better get that boob job after all..

Posted by: Michelle at November 15, 2004 10:42 PM

Noooo, you don't HAVE to have big boobs for me to want to hug you. I hug ALL PEOPLE. I just hug a little longer when big boobs are involved because I LOVE the way they feel.

Posted by: y at November 15, 2004 10:46 PM

I TOTALLY want to meet you now! (and my boobs ain't that smallish)

Posted by: shy me at November 16, 2004 02:48 AM

Add me to the list of big-boobed wimmin wantin' a hug.

Posted by: Emily at November 16, 2004 03:11 AM

my boobies aren't so big, but i like hugs. Especially total strangers in amusement parks.

Posted by: sarah at November 16, 2004 04:49 AM

Well then I can't wait to hug you....

Posted by: Amy S at November 16, 2004 03:00 PM

Oh yay yay! I love hugs too! =)

Posted by: cee at November 16, 2004 11:31 PM

About Y
My name is Y, but you can call me "Jesse's girl." I am an Aerobic Dancer and have mastered many moves, but the one I am the most proud of is "The Monkey." I have three kids. ALL FROM THE SAME DAD (Because, did you know someone actually asked me that question?) A 15 year old son, a 11 year old son and a 4 year old daughter who was not planned but who is loved more than words could ever express. I am addicted to Starbucks, reality TV and to getting really good deals through coupons and "club member" savings (Please, respect The Costco Card.) I am extremely competive and if you don't believe me, just ask my husband about the time I sold him out to win a game of Taboo. If you're waiting for the part where I speak of my love for walks on the beach or slow dancing in the rain, you're going to be disappointed because my idea of a good time usually involves things like "burping contests" and "doing The Worm".
