I've got the upper respiratory crud going on too so I feel for Gabby. I did absolutely nothing but veg on the couch for the last 2 days and I'm still exausted. this sucks.

Hope Gabby feels better soon. Glad she's not in the hospital. My morning started with my badass mother inlaw badmouthing about my husband coz they had a fight 3 days ago. Better to smell snot, eggs than having her standing infront of you whining the entire 1 hr. I would take that anytime than this crappy morning.

Ok, so take the bebe into the bathroom with her, sit her in her baby seat (or other suitable baby-confining contraption), and take yourself a nice, warm shower. The humidity will do her good, and the heat and soap will do YOU good. Then you both have a nice big lunch, and a nice long nap. Have the man bring home a bottle o' bleach, and go after the rest of the house with that AFTER you've had a nap (I've always preferred the smell of bleach to the smell of lysol).

Oh, and make your man bring you home a treat from starbuck's. You deserve it, Mommy.

Oh thank goodness- I came here hoping for a Gabby update. So glad that she's doing better. She's in my thoughts and I hope for a speedy recovery back to her old sweet self.

Aww, I'm sorry to hear Gabby is sick. My daughter had RSV at four months and spent a week in the hospital because of it - I know how scary it can be. I'm glad she's home with you, and I hope she starts feeling better really soon.

This is like my fifth time to check in since last night to see how she's doing -- so glad she's not in the hospital! Hope she's feeling MUCH better soon, and you get some much needed / deserved rest!

I agree about the HMOs. We had one a couple of years ago and I couldn't even find a doctor that'd see me, thankfully, my kids' doctor was in on it.
