Woman, you are my inspiration. I'm pregnant now and it's harder than hell to watch the scale creep back up after losing 70 lbs. Seeing you and how you've been able to take the weight off after Gabby gives me hope that I, too, will be able to get back to where I want to be and thensome!

You looks FABULOUS!! :)

Posted by: Nicole at September 16, 2005 08:23 PM

How many inches or dress sizes have you lost? I have to say that you look amazing!

I was amazed to read the nasty comments that you've gotten. I can't believe people who don't know you would write that kinda stuff to you. I'm totally flabbergasted.

Keep up the good work

Posted by: Daria at September 17, 2005 06:53 AM

I'm a huge asshole.

Posted by: Sandra LeLump at September 17, 2005 09:19 AM

Wow. I'm impressed! How are you doing it?

Posted by: Heatheranne at September 17, 2005 09:43 AM

It's better to lose about a pound a week. so slow and steady is good. By losing weight slowly, you are less likely to lose muscle.

You are doing a great job and I mean it! I wouldn't say it, if I didn't mean it.

It never ceases to amaze me HOW WE ARE ALMOST THE SAME PERSON.

I have your brown tank from Target, only in green.

You look fabulous Yvonne!

I just had my second baby, a girl, two and a half weeks ago and am trying to be patient with my huge hanging jello gut. I keep reminding myself that it will take time, patience, dedication and will power but I can do it!

Thanks for sharing your pictures and journey with your readers. You're truly an inspiration Yvonne!

Awesome!! :)

Posted by: Stacey at September 18, 2005 07:45 AM

You are doing wonderful! And you are looking great!

I'd also like to know how you are doing it. Feel like sharing some tips? What helps, what doesn't?

Losing weight is hard. It goes on so damn easy, far too easy. But getting it off? Keeping it off? What a bitch!

I turned 39 in March. I was fat. I decided I was done being fat and going to get my life and body back. One week later I joined Weight Watchers.

I'm now down 61.4 pounds. I've gone from a 22-24 to a 14. I still have about 26 pounds to go. Then the hard part of keeping it off starts. EEK!

People who make fat comments are assholes who either have their own body size issues or are people who just have no sense of how to behave. Possibly both. HAHA

Keep up the great work!

Woman! You look *great*. Jeez.

Posted by: moonbatty at September 19, 2005 08:52 PM

Slowly, and safely.. that's so encouraging to me! I just started Weight Watchers and this is SURE motivation. Thanks for sharing.

Remember me?

About Y
My name is Y, but you can call me "Jesse's girl." I am an Aerobic Dancer and have mastered many moves, but the one I am the most proud of is "The Monkey." I have three kids. ALL FROM THE SAME DAD (Because, did you know someone actually asked me that question?) A 15 year old son, a 11 year old son and a 4 year old daughter who was not planned but who is loved more than words could ever express. I am addicted to Starbucks, reality TV and to getting really good deals through coupons and "club member" savings (Please, respect The Costco Card.) I am extremely competive and if you don't believe me, just ask my husband about the time I sold him out to win a game of Taboo. If you're waiting for the part where I speak of my love for walks on the beach or slow dancing in the rain, you're going to be disappointed because my idea of a good time usually involves things like "burping contests" and "doing The Worm".
