I am officially de-lurking. I read you all the time and I think you are fabulous! You are real and honest and awesome in my opinion. And something you should know about me is that I just joined a gym and started going to a Cardio Dance class because you inspired me.

Since I have commented before I guess I'm not technically delurking, but I don't comment regularly yet I read all the time, so this is a semi-delurk, I guess.

I have four kids and I went to Curves yesterday for the first time since I had my baby two months ago. Ouch.

I often send my sister links to your blog and she reads it and emails me back how 'me' everything you say is... and I think that's a HUGE compliment because I get such a kick out of your writing!

The other night I woke up at about 4 am and couldn't sleep. I had a really dry mouth so I googled "night time dry mouth" or something like that and the first handful of links that came back were about mouth cancer. I can't remember if I cried or not but I sure as hell didn't go back to sleep too easily! (and scheduled an appointment with my dentist first thing in the morning)

So about me? I worked for Starbucks for 3 years and will never drink another frappuccino in my life. Or any drinks with that caramel sauce. It's hard to love something that's been in a box in the back room for months that you have to warm up then squish out of it's little plastic sac into a squeeze bottle. Just not my thing... No matter how sinfully de-lish it is.

My point? For your diet I suggest working at Starbucks and within a year you'll be so over it!

So yeah, things to know about me? I'm a full-time student, part-time junior accountant, and I have a darling 6 year old and a wonderful husband, without whom I would definitely not be able to do both the school and work thing and still retain some sanity.

hi! i'm emily's sister - she's the one who recommended that you work at starbucks to get over your frap-addiction and i'd have to agree with her. i worked at a place where we had lots of pizzas and nachos and things like that and that was my diet for a long long time. now? nachos are nearly dead to me. and it ruined pizza for a whlie too.

the other upside of working at the bux would be that until you get disgusted by the fraps you'll get them on the cheap!

One thing you should know about me? Like a deep and dirty secret? Ok, let's see. Years ago when I was in high school I used to sneak out of class (Mission Impossible-style) and leave school to get myself and a few other classmates (and sometimes the teacher) Burger King. Those were the days where this girl could eat anything anytime and not gain an ounce. A number of years, many hormones and a child later that doesn't hold true. My kid is 5 and I'm still trying to lose the last 40 pounds I gained during pregnancy.

I am a single mother of two working full time. My big sister told me about your page and I freely admit to reading but never posting. You are hilarious and I need that after working all day and momming all night. I have great stories to tell but have never started a blog, maybe I should. I have been called "weird" since the 3rd grade and people say I am funny too. Hi, I'm delurking. I haven't read the 251 other comments so hopefully the thing I'm about to tell you about myself hasn't already been beat to death: I put hot sauce on everything and I almost never comment on blogs.

I rarely comment. I'm an incredibly shy person but I love your blog. I am a sahm mom to two kids. Kaia 3 and Cole 1. I'm 23 and live in Ohio. Something about myself: My pet peeve is people who think I'm just a "welfare mom" because I'm so young. But my husband and I planned our kids and make too much for welfare. I am so sick of the drive by parenting comments!
