A moment of funny in the midst of the HELL that is MOVING (because you've been kicked out of the house you've lived in for 10 years by lying old man, but don't mistake this title for me being bitter, because GLORY! I'm totally not!)

"Um, what the hell is going on here?"

I was searching for the lyrics to Water Colored Ponies and found your site. I am in the process of unpacking after a difficult move. We left sunny CA for the South. I will be so glad when it is all put away and life gets a little more normal.
Hang in there and give yourself grace.
I would love to chat with you more.

*sigh* I love dogs!

So uh. S'up? I smell cheeze. You got any cheeze in there? Oh wait...woof. Yeah, that's it. Bark bark and all that. And Mom? Can I totally bite that lying old man on the ass? Because y'know...he's a lying old man and um...I'm a dog. And y'know....um. I like to gnaw and chew on jerky. And he looks like he'd be good to chew on.

Scuse me, I've gotta bite my own ass for a minnit....

Hey Y,
The moral of the story: Keep your chin up, just like your smart C.U.T.E. puppy!!! Moving totally sucks but you will make it. Everything happens for a reason (I know you probably HATE to hear that yet again as you are saying "damn, HOW many boxes is it going to take to pack up all this crap in the kitchen!?!" I hate packing a kitchen!)
It's so great that you are able to recognize such great moments and also share them with us. We love you!!

If you lived there for 10 years, they have to give you more than 30 days notice.
You could go to the mattresses...

Posted by: Sonja at April 30, 2007 07:32 AM

I totally had a dream about coming over to help you pack and move. You and you kids lived in an apartment complex on the second story and when I went to knock on your door you wouldn't let me in because you thouhgt your house was a mess and I got all dizzy and fell over the edge and landed near a sofa??? You came down to see if I was ok and you're like I just don't like when people stop by unannounced....
Funny...I must be reading your blog too much.

Bandit says - Yo Mom, please don't pack my squeaky, my bone and my water dish until the last minute.

He's so handsome!

Bossy thinks your window (soon to be ex-window) makes a really cute puppet theater.

Posted by: BOSSY at April 30, 2007 11:58 AM

About Y
My name is Y, but you can call me "Jesse's girl." I am an Aerobic Dancer and have mastered many moves, but the one I am the most proud of is "The Monkey." I have three kids. ALL FROM THE SAME DAD (Because, did you know someone actually asked me that question?) A 15 year old son, a 11 year old son and a 4 year old daughter who was not planned but who is loved more than words could ever express. I am addicted to Starbucks, reality TV and to getting really good deals through coupons and "club member" savings (Please, respect The Costco Card.) I am extremely competive and if you don't believe me, just ask my husband about the time I sold him out to win a game of Taboo. If you're waiting for the part where I speak of my love for walks on the beach or slow dancing in the rain, you're going to be disappointed because my idea of a good time usually involves things like "burping contests" and "doing The Worm".
