My husband had a hard life. If you knew the details of his childhood, you would probably want to hug him and you might even cry a little.
You’d never know the rejection and hurt he’s endured over the years because he turned out to be such a selfless, thoughtful, good man.
A man who loves his children deeply and has sacrificed a great deal so they can have the happy childhood that he didn't have.
I always try to acknowledge his birthday in some way, because I want him to know that even though his biological mother AND father both abandoned him, I love him deeply and am so fucking glad that he was born.
Ever since Gabby was born so close to his birthday, his Big Day has come and gone without notice. And he’s fine with it, because he’s an adult and not one to cry about petty things like “no one called me or gave me a present on my birthday.”
But, this year, I wanted to do a little something special for him, just because he sacrifices so much for his family every day of every year, that I just wanted to celebrate his birthday and let him know that “hey, we care about you and you are loved!”
I asked friends, but people are busy with their own parties, lives, previous plans.
And it makes me want to cry (ok, I did cry) but I completely understand. People have lives, they have other friends, that's just life.
But, I decided that I’m not going to toss his birthday to the side another year and I’m going to take him out for a nice dinner and maybe a movie and a blow job on the way home. (Provided bulging disks cooperate.)
He deserves at least that.
I feel a little silly asking this, but if you wouldn’t mind taking a minute and saying something nice to PigHunter on his special day, I would appreciate it. (He gets a kick out of your comments, seriously, you people make him laugh.)
Happy Birthday, Tony. I’m so glad you were born and I just want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for allowing me ride the Tony Boloney Pony for the past 17 years.

Happy birthday Tony!!!!!
"happy birthday to you...
you smell like a zoo
you look like a monkey...
ought to get a tattoo...."
