My children will not be children forever. But I will make sure their childhood lives forever in pictures.

This is great. I'm jealous of your mad photo skillz.

Gotta love that camera!! They make every picture so beautiful but it makes it hard to pick which ones to print I bet!
(It also takes some mad skillz on the photographer's part, not just the camera does a photographer make!) ;)

Wow. That is an amazing picture!

I take an insane amount of pictures of my little guy so that we can always remember his childhood. It's also fun to go back and look at how much he has changed and grown.

You'll be glad you did.

Posted by: bibi at January 31, 2008 8:17 AM

Oh, how I wish I could take pictures like that. *sigh*

Posted by: rookiemom at January 31, 2008 9:45 AM

Wow. The photo is incredible.

Deep in the grip of a Canadian winter I'm mesmerized by that dandelion puff. It's made me very wistful for warmer weather.

Yvonne, you are such a great photographer. When I think back to the photos my mom took of my siblings and me--they were the most uncreative photos, and there was always a telephone pole or tree right behind us, coming out of our heads. Your pictures are beautifully angled and so natural, yet with great design. There is an artist in you. As for your Hashimoto's, I understand that it might take awhile to get the medication adjusted correctly for you. I hope you start to feel better soon.

Beautiful photo! You're children will really treasure these some day.

Posted by: Jamie at January 31, 2008 2:24 PM

Okay - I also have an awesome camera. I, however, manage to only take shots of:
1) my finger
2) the back of my son's head
3) my lens cap
4) my hair hanging in front of my camera

You rock as a photographer!
(Want to come take some pics of my kid???)

About Y
My name is Y, but you can call me "Jesse's girl." I am an Aerobic Dancer and have mastered many moves, but the one I am the most proud of is "The Monkey." I have three kids. ALL FROM THE SAME DAD (Because, did you know someone actually asked me that question?) A 15 year old son, a 11 year old son and a 4 year old daughter who was not planned but who is loved more than words could ever express. I am addicted to Starbucks, reality TV and to getting really good deals through coupons and "club member" savings (Please, respect The Costco Card.) I am extremely competive and if you don't believe me, just ask my husband about the time I sold him out to win a game of Taboo. If you're waiting for the part where I speak of my love for walks on the beach or slow dancing in the rain, you're going to be disappointed because my idea of a good time usually involves things like "burping contests" and "doing The Worm".
