There are so many things to tell you about these past two days, but for now, I will share with you the first moment we saw our son for the first time in three months.
Wow honey, this brought tears to my eyes. I’ve been thinking a lot about your family and you are in my heart. That’s a brave, beautiful young man you’ve raised.
I am so ridiculously excited for you. This is such a poignant glimpse into a boy becoming a man. I am so happy you chose to share this with us. We’re out here, Y, cheering you all on, so proud of both your son and of you.
I am sitting in Norway in a hotel room, and suddenly with one image I am completely transported into the heart of your family, sharing a moment that is at once so intensely personal and specific, but at the same time, so ageless and universal. Thank you for letting us in.
so touching… I am so happy for your family and proud of Andrew

Congratulations to the entire family, the love you all have for each other is tremendous. I also saw your pictures on Twitter; has Ethan surpassed Andrew in the height department? You have a beautiful family.
That is so amazing. I am breathless with happiness for you and your family. Big hugs and lots of love from Chicago.

I swear I’am going to start taking out my contacts before I look at your blog, I cry everytime. The pictures are gorge and full of emotion. So happy for you, he looks like he has crossed the line straight over into manhood, amazing.
LOVE! I burst into tears at that photo of your husband. Did you have the presence of mind to snap that? God, what an amazing photo. I think the hug I got from my son when I first saw him at Family Day was the best hug I’ll ever get in my life.
